BENEFIT FOR JOHN MICHAEL COMPTON

John Michael Compton, son of Mike and Gay Compton had a blood vessel burst in his head earlier this fall.  We all thought we were going to lose a wonderful young man that many of us have watched grow up.  He spent many days in Huntsville Hospital's intensive care unit as he slowly recovered against all odds.  He is now in Atlanta, Georgia in rehab, re-learning how to walk and talk as well as basic life skills.  

A benefit is going to be held for John Michael at the Country Club in Ardmore located at 24862 Main Street this Sunday, Nov 4 from noon until midnight.  Large Boston Butts will be for sale for $30; with plate dinners going for $7.  There will pies, cakes and many other food items.  Live music by many different bands will be played during the event.   There will be auctions, raffles and door prizes as well.  

Come and spend your Sunday evening with us as we try to help this young man in his recovery.  If you have items you would like to donate, you can drop them off at the club or call and we will pick them up.
