Exactly a year after Delta State sent UAHuntsville packing in the 2012 NCAA Division II, the Chargers got a little payback -- and also put themselves one win away from another NCAA invitation. Thinking back on to a year ago, Bailee Robinson said, "It was a long game. After that, we knew we weren't as good a team as we could be."
"I couldn't be prouder of this team," said coach Roy Heintz. "They've come with a purpose in mind and they're carrying it out moment by moment, game by game."
Bailee and the Lady Chargers beat Delta State in the Gulf South Conference semi-finals, 68 -57. She added 11 points and five rebounds.
UAH (14-16) will play in the finals at 1:30 at Samford's Pete Hanna Center, meeting the winner of the West Alabama-North Alabama game
Watch Bailee tomorrow when the Women's Finals will be shown live by ESPN3/ESPN Full Court, Mediacom, and the Alabama Cable Network.
