Bailee Robinson scored a three pointer right out of the gate and followed it up soon after to help put UAH up 8 - 0 in the first few minutes. The Lady Chargers used a trap defense that cause Valdosta State to turn the ball over more than 20 times. UAH had a big lead at half, 54 - 29. Valdosta State started to pull it together and cut the lead down to 12 but the UAH guards were able to hit their freethrows down the stretch to hold their lead over VSU.
Jasmine Hammon finished the afternoon with 26 points while teammate Jordan Smith poured in 23 as both shot over 50 percent from the field on the day. Joining the pair in double figures was Bailee Robinson who scored 13 and Natalie Kelley who tallied 12.
