2015 Randolph Classic - Cross Country News

Like every other year, the Randolph Classic was a slippery, muddy and fun race to watch! The Red Devils posted great times on the course – which was deemed to be slightly short of the 5K distance, measuring only 3 miles instead of the 3.1 miles for a full 5K. Regardless, after this fan compared times to what the Red Devils posted a year ago, it was found that several ran their best
Randolph Classic times ever!

The Red Devils were competing in the 1A-4A division at this race and we had 3 athletes earn Top 15 Finisher Honors. Chase Prater (2nd place overall) and Chance Bailey (9th place overall) in the boys division and Claudia Allen (11th place overall) in the girls division.

There was a total of 261 runners in the boys race and a total of 151 in the girls race. As a team, the Elkmont boys placed 4th out of 28 teams and the girls placed 5th out of 17 teams!
