Voters in Limestone County will head to the polls again before year's
end, after Tuesday's special election for the Republican candidate in
the District 5 State Representative race.Preliminary results were Chris Seibert with 39 percent of the vote and Danny F. Crawford at 33 percent. As no Republican candidate received 50 percent of the vote Tuesday, there will be a run-off election between Seibert and Crawford on December. 8.

The turnout was very low with only 207 Elkmont voters marking their ballots. Here are the results.
