OBINETTA WRIGHT SOLOMON - OBITUARY

Obinetta Wright Solomon, age 101, passed away Saturday, October 24,2015 at Limestone Health Facility. She was born August 28, 1914 in Waxahachie, Texas to John Gipson and Vela Brooks Wright. She grew up in Limestone County. She was retired from Automatic Electric and was a member of Elkton Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister: Martha Scott, five grandchildren (One of them is Karen Abernathy from Elkmont. She is married to Anthony Abernathy), several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Obinetta was preceded in death by her parents John and Vela Brooks, husband, Carl Solomon, two sons, John David Patterson and Oneal Patterson, five brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 12:30PM on Wednesday, October 28,2015 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on October 28,2015, at Athens City Cemetery with Toney Wales officiating.
