JV SOCCER SWEEPS ARDMORE

The JV Red Devils improved their record to 1-1-1 with a 2-1 victory over Ardmore. Braden Long lit up the stat sheet, scoring both goals and also registering three saves after putting on the goalie mitts.

Van Hamlin also registered three saves. Nehemias Vicente had one assist. Eliseo Nava's aggressive play set the tone for Elkmont's defense, which dominated the other end of the field and proved to be a real strength for the Red Devils in this rivalry game.

The JV girls also registered a big win at Ardmore, winning 3-1.

The JV team plays its next game on March 7 at Meridianville at 6:00 pm, with the girls playing at 4:30 pm.  The next Varsity matchup is at Madison Academy on March 6.
