Elkmont earned its spot in Friday's County Championship game with a 3-1 win over Tanner. The Kickin' Red Devils play West Limestone for the championship at 7:00 pm on Friday at Clements.
Juan Mendoza led the Red Devils with two goals and Ronaldo Aguilar scored the other. Danny Valencia had one assist.
Goalie Tee Boyd registered seven saves in a game that seemed to be primarily played right in front of Elkmont's goal all night.
Elkmont's always reliable defensive unit of Ronaldo Aguilar, Rafael Aguilar, Santiago Altamirano and Matthew Lowery shut down Tanner's offense, with the only Rattler goal being a penalty shot.
