Mrs. Ann Hamby Benson, age 49 of Athens, AL passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Mrs. Benson was born on July 31, 1968 in Giles County, TN to William and Ellar Austiell Hamby. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Lee Hamby.
Mrs. Benson is survived by her husband, Jammey Benson of Athens, AL; 3 daughters, Anna Ree Hamby, Amy Louise Hamby and Tina Michelle Benson all of Athens, AL; sister, Jan Toon (Billy) of Elkmont, AL; brother, Earl Hamby of Elkmont, AL and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Benson will be at 11:30AM Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Mike Webster officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven Clark, Jason Pendergrass, Kaylab, Timothy Tarpley, Barry Tate, Glen, Brandon Tate and Daniel Mayfield.
