The Limestone County Board of Education on Tuesday: Elkmont Actions

*Approved Elkmont Youth Basketball to use the Elkmont High School gym July 15-18 for youth basketball camp. 
 *Approved Elkmont High School cross country team to go to David Crockett State Park on Aug. 5-10; and ESPN Race at Disney World on Oct. 11-15. 

New Teachers:
Daniel Lorenzo,  Charles Thompson, Tessa Hardiman, Andrea Berry, Lori L. Vining, and  Margaret R. Thomas.

Transferred Joanna Schrimsher from teacher to library media specialist. 

Resignations:
Christina Edwards, itinerant art teacher; 
Johnny Hobson, teacher and football/softball coach; 

Approved 2 percent pay raise mandated by the state Legislature.
