As a cheesemaker, there really aren't two things you'd rather see in front of you at the Fancy Food Show.  The biggest night in the gourmet food industry, the Fancy Food Show celebrates specialty foods of all types: ice creams, crackers, candy, and cheese. That's why it was such an honor to be even considered for two categories: Best Baked Good and Best Diet & Lifestyle Product.

And when we won....let's just say we were a tiny bit excited.  Competition is stiff, so seeing our (delicious) chevre cheesecake named best Baked Good in the industry was a wonderful surprise.  And we loved seeing our mantra of sexy, skinny, smart vindicated with our honey breakfast cheese receiving its second SOFI recognition, this time for Best Diet & Lifestyle Product.

"A sofi Gold is the highest honor in the fine food industry," said Tasia.  "The fact that a small goat cheese creamery like ours has been reconginized as one of the best in the nation is something I am very proud to say."

Go Belle Chevre, and congrats to our wonderful team of cheesemakers for making these delicious products!  Stop by and try some of these treats at Belle Chevre in downtown Elkmont.
