Members of the Elkmont Class of 1985 gathered together on August
1st at 306 Barbecue for their 30 Year Reunion. Classmates enjoyed
reminiscing with each other over dinner. The casual atmosphere gave them
all a chance to mix and mingle and get caught up with each other. Some
interesting door prizes were given out as part of a game showcasing
their age. A video presentation of their graduation ceremony played in
the background as well as a slide show of pictures from "back in the
day."
Classmates gave special attention to those they have lost. The
class was able to purchase floral arrangements for each as well as
donating twenty-two books to the school's library in their memory. They
have suffered six losses over the years: Steve Roberts (1967-1986),
Chris Thompson (1966-1986), Vickie Baker (1967-2002), Richard Kennedy
(1965-2007), Sherri Lovell Adams (1967-2011) and Joey Smith (1966-2013).
