Jerry Matthew Adams, 83 of Athens, died Monday at his residence. Mr. Adams was born November 16, 1931 in Limestone County, he
was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, a retired Pipefitter and
Pastor. Services will be 11AM Thursday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Luther Dugger and Doug Colwell officiating, burial in Adams Family Cemetery, visitation is from 6-9PM Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home.

Wife: Avis Adams of Athens
Sons: Stanley Matthew Adams of Mt. Juliet, TN, Jerry Donald Adams of Athens, Jonathan Adams of Athens, Nicky Dean Adams of Athens
Daughters: Patricia Shackelford of Lester, Regina Craig of Lester and Vicky Thomas of Athens
Twenty-two Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren, Great Great Granddaughter;
Brothers: Morris Adams of Elkmont, James Albert Adams of Athens
Sisters: Ester Barnett of Athens, Evelyn Gatlin of Harvest, Ruby Haggermaker of Athens.
Family will be pallbearers.
Preceded in death by: Son: Terry Lynn Adams; Daughter: Joan Loughary; Grandchildren: Daykel Adams, Keisha Loughary.
