Mike Criscillis is retired career Army, reaching the rank of Command Master Sergeant. He was also a curator of the National Infantry Museum at Fort Benning, Georgia.
At the recent candidate forum,
Republican candidate Mike Criscillis just had one request. “Send me to Montgomery,” he said.
The Tennessee native said his
experience as the acting director of the National Infantry Museum in
Georgia, which required him to manage a budget of $18.5 million dollars,
has given him the tools to work with budgets on the state level. If he wins the election, he says he won’t go to Montgomery and become a “good ol’ boy.”“I won’t just be rubber-stamping
bills. I will not rubber-stamp any bill that is not in the
best interest of the state and of Athens and Limestone County.” (Decatur Daily)
