Michael "Little Michael" Swanner, 16 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Monday, August 29, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, October 27, 1999 in Pulaski, Tennessee, he was the son of Brian Swanner and Jennifer Lewis. He was a member of Kelly Creek Baptist Church and liked football. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He also like to hunt and fish with his brothers and work on cars with his paw paw mac. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He had a strong sense of style (fashion coordinator for his sister). Not a day went by that he didn't aggravate all of his friends and family.
Surviving are his grandparents: Michael & Sharon Lewis of Ardmore, AL, Jean & Barry Curry of Prospect, TN, and Anthony & Ronda Swanner of Elkmont, AL, father: Brian Swanner of Elkmont, AL, mother: Jennifer Lewis of Lester, AL, brothers, Nicholas Swanner of Ardmore, AL and Matthew Lewis of Ardmore, AL, sister, Haley (John) Woodard of Ardmore, TN, aunts: Janna Lewis of Auburn, AL, Kayla Swanner of Elkmont, AL, and Janet Lewis of Elkmont, AL, uncles: Justin Swanner and Michael Swanner, both of Ardmore, AL, nephew: Chevy Woodard of Ardmore, TN, niece: Annie Woodard of Ardmore, TN, and close friends: Candice Ventress of Taft, TN and Terrylee Cline of Tanner, AL.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Roger Cothren officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either Ardmore Chapel or his Go Fund Me account.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
