Mr. Berzett was preceded in death by his first wife Mamie Taylor Berzett and his second wife Dora Marie Haggermaker Berzett; one daughter, Barbara Miller and one son, Sammy Berzett.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna Butler of Athens and Jennifer Morrison (Bobby) of Huntsville; sons, Ricky Berzett (Lila) of Athens and John Berzett (Sonya) of Athens; sister Jewel Clark of Lester; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Berzett was a member of Hays Mill Church of Christ. He resided in Limestone County his entire life, and retired from Martin Industries after 30 years of service.
There will be a graveside service for Mr. Berzett Monday, January 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Bottoms Cemetery with Rodney Britton and Stanley McNatt officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-12:30 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Berzett, John Berzett, Bobby Morrison, Shane Butler, Travis Berzett, and Stanley McNatt.
