Back in July, Ben and I competed as a couple for the Excellence in Agriculture competition. To be eligible you must be involved in Agriculture but have no more than 50% of your income come from your farming operation.
We won the Alabama division in 2016. Traveling to Phoenix, Arizona, we competed nationally at the 98th Annual Farm Bureau Convention on January 7.
We didn't make the top 10 but it has been such an enjoyable trip for us.
We are proud to represent Alabama in this competition, but even more so, we're proud to be apart of such a hard working, dedicated, and genuine organization. We look forward to the rest of our trip and regardless of the outcome, I am so proud to have made it this far with my husband by my side. A couple who presents together, stays together.
