ANDERSON/WALKER ENGAGEMENT

Mr. and Mrs. John C. Anderson of Elkmont announce the engagement of their daughter Grace Kathryn Anderson to Jimmy Britt Walker, son of Mrs. Jimmy Burl Walker of Athens and the later Jimmy Burl Walker.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anita Anderson of Athens, Barbara Weston of Tuscaloosa and the late Jack Anderson  and Marion Weston.  She is a 2006 graduate of Elkmont High School and a 2011 graduate of Athens State University where she received a bachelor's degree in elementary education.  She is employed by Limestone County as an elementary school teacher.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the later Mr. and Mrs. William Wesley Loggins and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Burl Walker.  He is a 1997 graduate of Athens High School and a 2007 graduate of UAH, where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration.  He is employed by the Social Security Administration as a service representative.  

The weeding is planned for July 13 at Belle Mina Methodist Church.
