Marjorie Tucker was born September 23, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Athens. Mrs. Tucker died Thursday, July 18. 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Della Dye; husband, Junior Tucker; daughter, Deanda King; brothers, Wayne Dye and David Dye; and sister, Martha "Mot" Russell.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Diana Butler of Athens
Granddaughters: Shanda Butler of Athens and Holly King of Elkmont
Great-granddaughters: Destiny Butler and Katy Butler
Sons-in-law: Jerry King of Prospect, Tennessee, and Jimmy Butler of Athens
Sisters: Helen Shannon of Vinemont, Brenda Sue Satterfield of Nashville, Rhonda Davis of South Carolina, Brina Stinson of Nashville, Rita Breedlove of Nashville
Brothers: John Dye of Nashville, Fred Dye of Huntsville, Alton Dye of Arab

The funeral for Marjorie Ann Tucker, 76, of Ardmore will be at 2 p.m.
Sunday, July 21, at Spry Funeral Home with Jerry King and Ray Pettit
officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
