DISCOVERY TOO MUCH IN SEASON OPENER

Even though the Elkmont soccer program is only three years old, it has expanded.  This year a Junior Varsity team has been added.  In its season opener, the JV Kickin' Red Devils fell to the more experienced Discovery team, 5-1.

Nehemias Vicente scored the lone goal. Another bright spot to take note of is Goalie Van Hamlin, who registered several saves.

The JV team's next game is at West Limestone on February 28 at 4:00 pm. The Varsity team opens its season on Thursday, February 16, against West Limestone at 6:30 pm at City Park in Ardmore.

Due to the renovations at Boss Hill Stadium, all home soccer games are scheduled to be played at Ardmore City Park.
