One of the state's top goal scorers, Valencia poured in 42 goals and 13 assists for Elkmont, which was won the Limestone County
Alvarado had a team-best 17 assists and scored 17 goals during the best season in the young program's short history.

Elkmont's head coach Dustin Pounders is the News Courier's pick for Coach of the Year in Limestone County. The first-year coach led Elkmont to a 15-2-2 record, including the program's first Limestone County Championship. “I had an idea that we would be pretty good when I got the job,” said Pounders. “They let me know real quick how good they were. We were area champs last year and then Limestone County Tournament champs this year. We progressed pretty well as the season went on I thought.”
