FUN WITH ELKMONT FIRE DEPARTMENT

It is fire safety week at Elkmont School. Our wonderful volunteer fire department came and brought the engines and medic cars. The kindergarten and first grade students learned about "stop, drop and roll" if their clothing catches on fire as well as what to do in case of fires and who to call. These excited boys and girls were able to get in and out of the engines and take pictures. They all got hats and coloring books filled with  information about fires.

Big thanks to Elkmont Volunteer Fire Dept for coming out today to talk about fire safety with our Kinders and 1st graders. LOVE our small town!! (They even brought us all some really cool hats!)
