BENEFIT CHICKEN STEW/GUN RAFFLE WAS A SUCCESS

We had a GREAT day today doing the benefit Chicken Stew and Gun raffle for Ray Kennedy at Elkmont VFD.. It was a huge success thanks to everyone that participated. To everyone that came out and helped, who sold chances, donated time, food, deserts, money etc....THANK YOU ALL!!! We couldn't have done it without every one of you! The family and friends of Ray are extremely thankful for our community's support.. THANK YOU ALL!!! 

 
Congratulations Mike Smith of Florence, on winning the fundraiser raffle we had for Ray Kennedy and his family. Mike chose the $500 cash prize! Thank you for your donation and congrats on winning.. This means we now have a New Palmetto State AR15 that we will be auctioning off with proceeds going to the family as well... We are going to auction it off Wednesday 11/4/2015 on a FB page called Shoals Weapons Ammo Tactical (SWAT). The auction will begin at 12:00 noon and end at 9:00 pm, with the proceeds from the auction going to the family. You must be a member of SWAT to bid. If you are not a member and wish to be, comment on this post or pm me, Derrick Barnett, and I'll get you added to the group. You must be 18 years old!

All proceeds go to help Ray Kennedy and his family in this difficult time. Ray has had an ongoing battle with heart problems and is now at UAB hospital awaiting a heart transplant.
