ROBERT (COB) JOHNSON - OBITUARY

Robert (Cob) Johnson, age 93, of Athens died Tuesday at Athens Rehab & Seniorcare. Mr. Johnson was born June 30, 1922 in Limestone County, a retired farmer, and a member of Elkmont church of Christ. Mr. Johnson was a lifelong resident of the Leggtown Community.

Services were at 1 PM Thursday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home, with Steve Ferguson officiating, burial in Legg Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday from 11 AM until the service at Spry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Doyle Graves, Terry Graves, Stanley Johnson, Mickey Paulk,Mike Coberly, and Tommy Graves.

Mr. Johnsons is survived by, Daughter, Sarah Hillis of Athens. Sons, Harold Johnson of Decatur, and Jerry Johnson of Athens. Four Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Paulk Johnson.
