Dan Lagrone, of Toney, Alabama died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Crestwood Medical Center, in Huntsville, AL.
He lived most of his life in the Ardmore area and was a member of Wooley Springs Church of Christ. He retired from NASA after working 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and family gatherings. He was preceded in death by parents Emmett and Letha (Holder) Lagrone, sons, Robert Dale Lagrone, Dennis Lynn Lagrone and Daniel Eugene Lagrone. He is survived by his wife Mary Lagrone of Toney, Al, daughter-in--law, Debra Lagrone of Toney, AL, 7 grandchildren Dana Rhinehart, Michelle Jenkins, Maria Brown, Melanie Blair, Heather Lagrone, Shane Lagrone, Scott Lagrone and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with the Bro. Bobby Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, June 15, 2012, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jesse McCune, Don Huches, Harold Neeley, Roger Craft, Mark Dodson, and Mickey Fowler. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Dodson, Zack Thompson, Lewis Sammett, James Allen Steel, and Wayne Faulk. |
