Obituary:
Wilma Jane Nafe Curtis, 87, of Athens passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at Athens Limestone Hospital. 



Mrs. Curtis was born September 3, 1924 in Summertown, Tennessee to Rollie Burton Nafe and Monnie Edith Nafe Leland. She was a homemaker and faithful member of Eastside Church of Christ for 58 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, affectionately known as Nana. Her passions in life were worshipping God, cooking, singing, and gardening. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday Jane 14, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. at Limestone Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until 4: 45 P.M. Thursday before the service. Burial wlll be in Roselawn Cemetery Athens Alabama. With Dan Clendenlng,Ralph Gregg & Joey Curtis officiating. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Kevin Alan Curtis, and brother Raymond L. Nafe. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Benjamin F. Curtis, sons Ronald W. Curtis (Athens), Joe N. Curtis and wife Vicki (Athens),; daughter Diane C. Wildenstein and husband Hank (Salem); brother Gene Nafe and wife Joyce of Rogersville; grandsons Phillip Curtis and wife Jana Curtis(Elba), Jonathan Curtis and wife Debbie(Birmingham); granddaughters Laura Curtis(Nashville), Leah Pierce and husband Kirk(Athens), Maria Franchowiak and husband Jamie(Madison), 
Amanda Hobbs and husband Jessie (Elkmont),
and Johanna Curtis(Alexandria, Virginia). She had 13 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Special caregivers are Rosa Isbell, Kimberly Henderson, and Rachel Webb.

Huntsville, Alabama 35801 

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Curtis, Phillip Curtis, Alex Nafe, Kenneth Nafe,Tony Nafe and Tyler Curtis.
