  • New Garden Cemetery
  • Cleanup day will be Saturday at New Garden Cemetery. Decoration day is Sunday, June 3. Donations needed for upkeep will be accepted both days.   • Revival. Elkwood Baptist Church at 27560 Sleepy Hollow Road in Elkmont will host a revival at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 3, and 7 nightly June 4-6. Preachers will be Clark Theriot from Sunday-Tuesday and Redus Moran on Wednesday. Call 256-206-2701

  • Fall Youth Football and Cheerleader Sign-Ups: at the Boys & Girls Club, Athens - 8:30 am - 2:00 PM.  Cost: $75........Dates: June 2, 16, 30; July 14, 21, 28.

  •  Learning to Love. Elkmont Church of Christ at Sandlin and Upper Ft. Hampton roads will hold adult classes and vacation Bible school June 10–13. On Sunday, June 10, worship is at 10 a.m., VBS from 11 a.m.-noon, evening worship at 5 p.m. and VBS at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday VBS is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Speakers for adult classes are: Monday, Richard McWilliams; Tuesday, Bill Irby; Wednesday, Randy Baker.
