Name: Mattie W. Clem Dates: Birth date: June 11, 1925 Death date: June 1, 2012 Obituary: Mattie Will Weldon Clem of Elkmont, passed away June 1, 2012. She was born June 11, 1925 at Prospect, Tn. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, which she lovingly gave away. She was also talented in many other areas including being a seamstress, painter, jewelry maker, and baker. She was a member of Elkmont Church of Christ.  She is survived by her loving husband Woodrow of 69 years; daughters Carolyn Riggs, (Lee), Frances Bowman, (John), Helen Hargrove, (Roger), Sherry Clem, (Michael); 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Nita Tankersley and Bess Smith who lovingly cared for our Mother.  Visitation will be at Limestone Chapel from 1-3 with services at 3 on Sunday June 3. Burial will be at Hodges Cemetery. Grandsons will be pall bearers with Steve Bates and Leonard Watson as honorary pall bearers.
