The Elkmont HS Cross Country Team is EXPANDING their season opener, The Elkmont Invitational, to include an OPEN 5K for the community! So all you runners from Elkmont, Ardmore, Athens, West Limesone, East Limestone, Madison, Decatur, Huntsville....well, you get the idea - all are welcome to come and run on the beautiful trail our kids train on! This run is a fundraiser for the Cross Country team that will help pay for meet entry fees throughout the season as well as to help these athletes travel to the Walt Disney World Cross Country Invitational in October.
The run will start at 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 29. It is only $20 and a fantastic way to support these kids!
