The Elkmont Senior Beta Club as being in Richmond, Virginia this week at the National Beta Club Covention. Our Betas are competing in the talent area and in social studies. Michael Farris took the Beta Club subject test yesterday with all the other top social studies experts. He will find out how he did Saturday.Our Motown group also competed yesterday. They wowed the audience and took 7th place. The top ten talents will compete again tomorrow and the results will be announced Saturday as part of the closing presentation.

today and are moving on to the group talent finals. The year I graduated from CHS we won nationals in the talent competition. Those memories are some great ones! I want to say thanks to her sponsor, Linda Schmidt for her dedication to these kids. School is so much more than academics and these kids are getting to experience that!
I am so excited for Elkmont High Senior Beta! They placed in 7th place and will compete in the morning for one of the top 3 places!!! Way to go! I am so excited for y'all
