Sammy Wayne Berzett, 53 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Born Thursday, December 1, 1960 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of John Alfred Berzett and the late Mamie Taylor Berzett. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors. He was preceded in death by a sister: Barbara Berzett Miller.

Surviving are his wife: Keila Powers Berzett; son, Landon Will Clark of Elkmont, AL; daughters, Misty Dawn Berzett of Athens, AL, Jessica Nicole Wilder of Manchester, TN and Laura Lea Clark of Elkmont, AL, brothers, Ricky Berzett of Athens, AL and John Berzett of Athens, AL, sisters, Donna Butler of Athens, AL and Jennifer Morrison of Huntsville, AL, grandchildren: Samantha Wilder, Braiden Wilder, Makena Griffin, and Grant Jones.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June, 18, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Mitch McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
