The chance for stronger storms and potentially a
few severe storms with high wind gusts will return this afternoon. Highs
will be in the upper 80s today. The heat and humidity sticks around for the weekend
with scattered afternoon storms on Saturday, some of which could be
strong. We return to a more summertime pattern for the new week with hot
and humid conditions and the chance for daily afternoon pop-up
thunderstorms.
