Competition started for the Running Red Devils Thursday in the Class 4A, 5A and 6A state track meets in Gulf Shores. Currently, their team ranking is 11th.
RESULTS
1600 Meter Run
Chase Prater finished fifth in the 4A boys 1600-meter run with a time of 4:40.86.
Chance Bailey came in at the twelve spot with 5:02.34.
100 Meter Dash
Noah Sharp finished 22nd with a time of 12.16.
COACH PUGH'S CORNER
Best part of doing what I do...seeing them having a great time. Good job today by Chase, Chance and Noah. Chase set a new school record for the mile with a 4:40 finish! More competition tomorrow. Ending the day making memories!
