ERNEST ENGLAND SELF - OBITUARY

Ernest England Self, 82, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at his home in Elkmont, Alabama. Born Wednesday, December 13, 1933 in Toney, Alabama, he was the son of the late Earney Self and the late Evelene Hines Self. He was a resident of Madison county most of his life and was a Baptist preacher. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Wife, Mary Maurine Self
Son and daughter -in-law, Kenny and Barbara Self.

Surviving are sons, Larry (Anita) Thomas of Ardmore, AL, Glen Self of Elkmont, AL, Mickey (Mary) Self of Taft, TN; David (Jennell) Self of Ardmore, AL, daughters; Mary (Mike) Lovell of Ardmore, AL, Teresa (Adam) Carlisle of Hazel Green, AL; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Mike Lovell and Bro. Ralph Riddle officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL.
