MILDRED H. KELLEY - OBITUARY
Mildred H. Kelley, 84 of Athens died Friday at her residence. Mrs. Kelley was born June 22, 1931 in Limestone County.
She was a member of Cairo United Methodist Church. Mrs. Kelley was former owner/operator of Kelley’s Grocery in Cairo Hollow.
Survivors: Daughter: Carolyn Posey and husband Kenneth of Athens; Son: Gerald Kelley and wife Betty Sue of Athens; Grandchildren: Brandon Posey, Sherrie Long, Rhonda Lauderdale, Lori Gooch and Chris Kelley; Great Grandchildren: Blake and Biranda Lauderdale, Cameron and Kelli Gooch, Hunter and Hayden Kelley; Brother: Jimmy Hardaway of Elkmont; Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by Husband: Leamon (Buck) Kelley.
Services were at 3PM Sunday at Spry Funeral Home, Chapel with Louis Johnson and David Jones officiating, burial in Sandlin Cemetery, visitation was from 1pm until service Sunday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Brandon Posey, Chris Kelley, Blake Lauderdale, Cameron Gooch, Greg Hardaway and Charlie Long. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Hardaway, Tom Davis and Chuck Harness.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
