BROWN AND SPEIRS ENGAGEMENT

Larry and Julie Brown of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Ruth-Anne, to Seth David Speirs, son of Kent and Charlotte Speirs, of Arlington, Texas.  

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late James Milton and Estelle Hargrove Brown of Athens, the late Dorothy Walton Brannon of Decatur, and Dr. J. Wayne Brannon of Hillsboro.  Ruth-Anne is a 2007 graduate of Elkmont High School, a 2011 graduate of Brigham Young University and is employed as librarian at Las Vegas Day School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Leo and Roberta Bastian Speirs and Brice and Lorraine Farrow Frost.  Seth is a 2005 graduate of L.D. Bell High School, is currently studying applied management at Brigham Young University – Idaho and is employed as a radiation therapist at Texas Oncology.

The wedding will be July 7, 2018 at the LDS Birmingham temple with a reception to follow in Athens.  The couple will reside in the Dallas, Texas area.
