The varsity sports are having their June summer play dates. The sports seasons overlap to such an extent that the multiple sport athlete doesn't have any time to practice before the next sport so the June practice dates are crucial to help the players learn how to play together.
Elkmont men's basketball has been busy. The Varsity played 3 games Tuesday at Clements and went 1-2 beating Lexington and losing to Clements and Phil Campbell (no blow outs though) and JV beat Clements. Thursday they played at Lexington and again Varsity went 1-2 beating Central Florence and losing to Colbert Co and Lexington.
JV also went 1-2 beating Lexington and losing to Colbert County and Central Florence. Again, all games were close games. The team leaves today for team camp in Jackson, Tennessee.

Varsity players:
Rhett Bailey, Trevor Patterson, Jared Bailey, Joshua Carter, Preston Rouse, Aron Moss, Colby Holt, Eli Hobbs, Jordan Nelson and Kaleb Wallace.
JV players:
Travis Riggs, Nathan Teeples, Ethan Wilson, Peyton McCown, Braxton Hand, Brady Garris, Jackson Cook, Noah Sharp, Tiyler Walts
