The Limestone system has also received 60 applicants for the principal position vacated by Stan Davis, who retired May 31 from Elkmont High School.
Tom Sisk, superintendent of Limestone County Schools, who has solicited input from Elkmont employees about the principal search, is currently reviewing applications for that vacancy.
The Elkmont job could be filled at the next board meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 18.
