Obituary:
Wilma Dean Thomas Robison age 84, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at her home in Athens. She was born on June 23, 1928 to John Lindsey Thomas and Verna Balch Thomas in Limestone County. She graduated from Athens High School. She married Weldon Robison on June 14, 1947. They were married for 50 years before Weldon passed away in 1998.

Mrs. Robison was a dedicated Christian wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was an excellent cook, seamstress, and housekeeper. She known by many for her delicious yeast rolls and mexican cornbread. Gardening and quilting were two other things she especially enjoyed. She worked for a short time in the Athens Lingerie plant. Most of her working career was spent helping her husband run an appliance repair business. When her mother could no longer live alone, she took her into her home and cared for her for several years as well. In the mid-1980s, she battled breast cancer and with the help of the Lord, she came through. After Mr. Robison's death, she worked some at the Wilson's Fabric store in downtown Athens before it closed. Mr. and Mrs. Robison volunteered their time with the Piney Chapel Volunteer Fire Department for several years. They were also members of the Ephesus Church of Christ. Above all, she instilled Christian values in her family. Throughout her life, the will of the Lord always came first. No doubt she was a blessing. Her hard work is done, and she is now at peace. This world was not her home just a passing through point. May God let us carry her legacy with us as we pave our own paths Home.

She is also preceded in death by sisters: Mildred Thomas Kraus, Tina Thomas McMeans, Ruth Thomas Bray, brothers: John Edward Thomas and James Larkin Thomas, and a great-grandson, Eli Bradfield Lovell.

Mrs. Robison is survived by one daughter, Janice Robison Campbell and husband, Terry of Athens; granddaughters, Emily Campbell Lovell and husband, Steve of Elkmont and Anna Campbell of Athens; great-grandchildren - Abigail Kate Lovell and Jacob Weldon Lovell of Elkmont; Several nieces and nephews.

Pall Bearers will be Steve Lovell, Jacob Lovell, Larry Lovell, Stanley Menefee, Johnny Kraus, Tony Thomas, Darrin Robison, Frank Robison, and AI Robison. Honorary Pall Bearers will be the elders and deacons of the Ephesus Church of Christ.

Her visitation will be Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Her services will be on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Limestone Chapel. Her body will be laid to rest in the Roselawn Cemetery in Athens with Robert Fudge and Donnie Rogers officiating.
