EDITH DEAN DAVIS - OBITUARY

Edith Dean Davis, age 81 of Elkmont, AL died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Ardmore Health Care, Ardmore, Tennessee. Born Wednesday, August 28, 1935 in Leggtown, AL, she was the daughter of William Stanford and Louise Stanford. She enjoyed Gospel singing and going out to eat and loved helping everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother, Wayne Stanford, Sister, Joyce Gibbons, Grandson, Duston Glover.


She is survived by her *Husband:  Billy Joe Davis, Elkmont, AL
*Sons:
Larry(Joyce) Nichols, Elkmont, AL, and William David Davis, Saint Petersburg, FL
*Daughters, Patsy Glover, East Limestone, AL, and Rebecca Johnson, Milwaukee, WI
*12 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great boxer dog named Bear.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Cecil Norman and Rev. James Lemay officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cementary.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
