One of the charity fundraising rides yesterday was hosted by Jennifer and Chad McElhiney with festivities later at their home. As Hill Spirit heard the sounds of ole' fashioned fun last night on the curve, it made one think...do you know about your neighbors, Jennifer and Chad and their Country Events venue?
Jennifer and Chad McElhiney came to Elkmont for its small town community, where everyone knows everyone! They have been in Elkmont almost 4 years and love it! As their kids get older and each departs to start the next chapter in his life's journey, the McElhineys have found there is more time to do what they enjoy. Chad and Jennifer's youngest is a freshman at Elkmont and loves it!
Jennifer used to do wedding receptions and catering at a business in St. Louis. She says that since they now have an amazing property (formerly the old bed and breakfast on the curve), it would be a unique venue for country rustic weddings.
The McElhineys have had a few weddings and bridal showers at the house for friends and family. Of course, everyone would always ask when they were opening it up as a business. Jennifer has decided to give it a shot! She loves catering and hosting and has the perfect place. If you are planning a special event, it's time to try something new!
