Told a little guy in kindergarten last week his homework was to go home and learn to tie his shoes. Today he could not wait to show me that he had mastered it. All it takes is a little time and effort to show a child. Time and effort.....that’s what every lesson a parent must teach takes. Somethings up with our kids. Kids can’t tie shoes. They can’t hold a conversation. They cannot look adults in the eyes and they do not understand respect. I’m willing to bet that there was little time spent and no effort in any of these. Little minds and hearts are special. They not only require guidance but they deserve it!! Time and effort...choices parents must make. Have a good one!
