The funeral for Ruby Leona Taylor, 96, of Elkmont will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Spry Funeral Home with David Beck officiating.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at her daughter’s home.
She was born Sept. 25, 1915, in Limestone County. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Athens.
Ruby lived in Limestone County all her life. She had a heart full of love and kind words for everyone. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Her family would like to thank Home Health and Hospice of Limestone County for their support, and also David Bell, Martha Sims and Kim Ferguson.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Harris “Tally” Taylor; sons, Stanley Taylor and Tim Taylor; parents, Henry Hughes and Anna Elliott Hughes; and sisters, Eurla Wray, Bedie Craig and Donnie Clem.
She is survived by six sons, Bobby Taylor and wife Betty, Roy Taylor and wife Mot, Robert Taylor, Grady Paul Taylor and wife Carol, Marshall Taylor and Ted Taylor, all of Elkmont; daughters, Mot Wray and husband David of Prospect, Tenn., and Judy Newman
