Elkmont band fundraiser
The Elkmont High School band chili cook-off and chicken stew is on Saturday. The chili cook-off starts at noon, with judging at 3 p.m. Cost for chicken stew is $5 per quart and $10 per gallon and will be sold at 11 a.m.. Proceeds go toward the band’s spring trip. The Lions Club annual Christmas parade will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Elkmont Senior Center and Elkmont library volunteers will host a free community holiday lunch from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the Elkmont Depot. Public is invited.
