HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS - JANUARY 30 - FEBRUARY 3

• FRIDAY:
• • Senior Night tonight; Elkmont plays New Hope.
  • Any 7-12 grade girl or boy interested in track needs to stay after school for about 30 minutes on Tuesday February 7th, in the lunch room.
  • Softball try-outs are tomorrow at 10:00 am at th High School Field. If it's raining on Saturday morning we will re-schedule for Monday after school.
• THURSDAY:
• Softball try-outs this Saturday @ 10:00am on the field. All paperwork must be turned in on or before that time.
• Varsity Boys and Girls play at ABS tonight
• Basketball Senior night has been moved to this Friday, Feb. 3 from Feb. 6.  The senior basketball players and cheerleaders will be recognized.

• • Forms to participate in Beauty Walk are in front office.
  • Jr. and Sr. Scholars' Bowl will practice after school today until 4:00 in Mrs. Swinea's room.
  • Any students grades 7-12 interested in participating in the Elkmont Chicken Cook-Off neds to get a registration form from Mrs. Woods by Friday.

  • Tech/poetry club meets today after school in Mrs. Baker's room.
  • Congrats to Skyler Gant - He won the 2011-2012 Limestone County Spirit Award.
  • All tournament Teams - Daniel Logan, Cole Glass, Jordan Bailey, Colby Holt, and Jordan Nelson
  • Baseball try-outs begins today after school. Make sure all proper forms are turned in to Coach Holt.
  • Boxtop Winners are: Adrien Goodrich, Van Hamlin and Anna Schrimsher.
  • Girls, grades 7-12, interested in playing softball, need to sign up with Ms. Hobbs this week and get the appropriate paperwork on file. Try-outs are scheduled for Saturday @ 10:00 am.
  • The ninth grade tour of the Limestone County Career Technical Center is scheduled for today. Ninth grade students with last names A-K will go on the tour this morning, and you will meet in the front lobby at 8:00 this morning, after attendance and announcments. The morning tour will return to campus by 11:20. Ninth grade students who arrive after your scheduled lunch time has started will check in with your teacher and then get your lunch. The afternoon tour group will include students with last names L-Z, and those students are to come to the front lobby at 11:35; be sure to finish your lunch by 11:30. You will return to campus at approximately 2:50 this afternoon. Remember that this is a school activity, so you are expected to be on your very best behavior and represent Elkmont High School  with class.
  • Golf meeting will be tomorrow @ 5:00 pm instead of today.
