COREY WILSON/JODE BROCK WEDDING

WED-Brock-Wilson.jpgJoDe Nicole Brock of Decatur and Corey Colvett Wilson of Elkmont were married in a 5 p.m. wedding Nov. 11, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Athens with Pastor Ben Jameson of Northport officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Karen Brock of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Marcella Thompson Moore of Decatur and the late Bill Thompson and Calvin and Louise Brock.

The groom is the son of Jimmy and Martha Wilson of Elkmont. He is the grandson of the late Theo and Irene Wilson and Brownie and Mary Paul Colvett.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Jessica Brock, sister of the bride. Bridal attendants were Paige Burrough, Lori Thigpen, Tracie Snipes and junior bridesmaid Emily Wilson. The flower girl was Katie Sloan.

Jimmy Wilson, father of the groom, and Jim Wilson, brother of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen were Justin Wilson and Ethan Wilson, nephews of the groom, Jamey Hobbs and Nick McMunn and ushers were Mathew Compton and Davey Ruff. The ringbearer was Jack Wilson.

The guest register was kept by Amanda Holcomb.

A reception followed the ceremony at Athens State ballroom. Servers were Karen Stephens, Wendy Goss and Carrie Brock Williams.
