Name: Edith Lucille Ridgeway Dates: Birth date: June 17, 1932 Death date: March 06, 2012 Obituary: Edith Lucille Ridgeway age 79 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Ridgeway was born June 17, 1932 in Lauderdale County to Andrew Stark and Stella Echols Stark.  Mrs. Ridgeway was a member of Salem Springs Baptist Church. She was a longtime nurse.  Preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Ridgeway; son, Donnie Ridgeway; parents, Andrew and Stella Stark; sister, Reba Louise Thacker. Services will be Thursday, March 8, 2012 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with Kevin Ward officiating. Survived by two sons, Ronnie Ridgeway (Kay) of Athens and Ricky Ridgeway (Teresa) of Elkmont; grandson, Justin Ridgeway (Dawn) of Athens; two step-grandchildren, Bradley Riggs and Breanna Riggs Smith (Justin); four great-grandchildren, Cassidy Ridgeway, Brooklyn Ridgeway, Brodie Ridgeway and Bailee Ridgeway; four step-great-grandchildren, Chaela Redd, Carly Redd, Landon Smith and Kaley Riggs. Pallbearers will be Tim Stark, Barry Thompson, Glenn Thornton, Mike Kelley, Royce Stark and James Ridgeway, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and CNA’S at Limestone Health Facility.
