HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS - MARCH 12 - 16

FRIDAY:

• Cheerleader Tryouts will be Friday, March 23. The tryout clinic will be March 19-22. The sign up sheets are in the hall by the library. There is a mandatory parents meeting on Monday, March 12. The Middle School Meeting is at 6:00 and the JV/Varsity Meeting is at 7:00 in the cafeteria. if you have any questions please see Mrs. Cindy Wales.
• Varsity/JV teams baseball travel to Ardmore; varsity game starts at 4:30 pm - followed by JV game
• Middle School baseball hosts West Limestone, double header tomorrow @ 10 am
• JV baseball hosts West Limestone, double header tomorrow @ 2 pm
• Prom tomorrow

THURSDAY:

• Middle School Softball, Cross Country Team, and Track team members should have met in the lobby after announcements.
• The Alabama High School Graduation Exam bgins this coming Monday, March 19. This spring administration is for all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students who still need to pass your subjct-area tests in Reading, Language, Social Studies, Math, and Science. Calculator training will be given to all students this morning in the cafeteria immediately after announcements; teachers, please check the Math roster that Mr. Rogers sent out yesterday and send all students on the list to the cafeteria. AM Tech students who must take the Math exam are to report to the cafeteria at 1:45 this afternoon for your calculator training.
• The golf team will play a 3:30 match today at Clements. Teachers, please excuse all varsity golfers at 2:20 so they can depart for the course at Joe Wheeler.

WEDNESDAY:

• Jr. Scholars' Bowl practice will be today after school in Mrs. Swinea's room until 4:00.
• The Alabama High School Graduation Exam begins this coming Monday, March 19. This spring administration is for all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students who still need to pass your subject-area tests in Reading, Language, Social Studies, Math, and Science. Mr. Rogers will be providing a full student roster of students testing each day to teachers later today, and testing will take place in the Gym and in Mrs. Woods' kitchen each day. Calculator training will be provided to all students who must take the this training tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 in the cafeteria. Students, you are encouraged to get a good night's sleep before each testing day, and you should eat breakfast and take your time on your exams.
• Grades are to be posted no later than 8:00 this morning.
• Congrads to the Middle School baseball team in their sweep of the Athens Bible School Trojans
• Congrads to the Varsity Red Devils who defeated ABS with a well played game.

TUESDAY:

• School Closed; Be sure to vote
• Varsity/JV Baseball hosts Athens Bible School; games start 3:15 pm
• Middle School Baseball @ Athens Bible School; games start 2:20 pm
