SPRING CLEANING? FREE DUMP DAY

We always have lots of warm weather guests here in Elkmont for the next six months so we want to show off our cute community.  Take this opportunity to get rid of that junk around the house.
On March 25, Limestone County residents can take up to a truckload of debris to the Transfer Station at 16100 BFI Lane.  FREE OF CHARGE!

Remember:  Recycle FIRST!  Please make sure you have recycled and given away all that you can before taking items to the transfer station.

Click HERE for a list of items accepted by our recycling center.  Usable items can be donated to a local thrift store.

The Transfer Station will be open from 7 a.m. until noon  on March 25.  Be sure to get there early so you won't be turned away. Gates close at noon.

It is suggested that residents bring along a picture ID and a utility bill in case proof of residency is required.

RESTRICTIONS:  Only four (4) automobile tires will be accepted per load.  No appliances with compressors (air conditioners, freezers, refrigerators) unless the compressor has been removed from the appliance or is accompanied by a certificate indicating that the freon has been professionally removed.  No medical or hazardous waste will be accepted.  Gates close at noon. CONTRACTORS MAY NOT DUMP FREE.
