He was a jack of all trades, he loved his yard work, flowers, gardening and farming. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother: David Johnson and sister: Margaret Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Linda Hamlin Johnson of Elkmont, AL, son, Tracy Johnson of Elkmont, AL, brother, Mike Johnson of Elkmont, AL, grandchildren Chris (Whitney) Johnson of Elkmont, AL and Ashley (Lee) Rodgers of Athens, AL, great-grandchildren Dylan and Andrew Rodgers. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Carl Witty and Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. |
